DANCE SEASON 2011-2012
SUMMER MONTANA FAIR PARTICIPATION
We are currently taking enrollment for dance participants for the Summer Montana Fair performance scheduled for August 14th (Sunday). Whether your child wants to take the class only or participate in the Montana Fair, we would be delighted to have them a part of our team.
FAIR ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENT
It is required that all members that wish to participate in the Fair Performance need to enroll by June 30th to ensure that they get in minimal of four practice sessions before our rehearsal date. Members that enroll after June 30th will not be eligible to perform past minimal of one routine and required to complete minimal of eight practice sessions (including rehearsal dates). Members that complete minimal of four practice sesssions betweeen June and July will be eligible to participate in multiple routines. All participants are eligible to participate in the fair doing at least minimal of our routine or through the Drama program. Deadline for sign up summer fair performance for both dance and drama is July 28th. We cannot accept any new members after this date.
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
We now require all members must register to qualify to participate in our programs (excluding our drama program if taking it as a class only). All members are required to be registered to participate in the Montana Fair Performance. Registration process includes:
1. Application (contant information for both parent and member and member information)
2. Orientation of the program
3. Invoice and payments if requested (donation) for the enrollment.
4. Physical activity permission signed by parent for the member to participate in the dance program.
5. Program & club application (member is not required to be a member of the club at the time of registration but will be required to fill out a club application).
All new members must complete our Program Introduction orientation and all members including returns must do our seasonal orientation.
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THE PROGRAM
IF TAKING THE CLASS ONLY: Parents are responsible for providing practice clothing, ballet slippers, tap shoes, hair kit (Girls) and white clean sneakers for the class. No fee is applied for class participation.
IF PARTICIPATING FOR THE FAIR PERFORMANCE: We have a $15.00 rental fee (Shoes and clothing) plus $10 rental fee for performance wear for the Montana Fair. Fees will include shirt, shorts, slipper, and tap shoes (girls) for class and for performance. All dancers including boys must purchase and provide clean/new tennis shoes for class with socks. Please provide four weeks of clean socks.
